Azi Business Full Platform Demo – Aug 2026

Getting started with the Azi business workspace. A full demo walkthrough.

In this video, I’ll take you through the Azi business workspace: how to sign up and log in, explore your account, build a test, send it live and review the results.

Start by visiting aziresearch.com. From the homepage, you can learn more about what Azi offers product teams and research participants.

Select Sign up, then choose the portal you want to use. If you want to take part in studies and earn money, choose the participant portal. To create and run research studies, choose the business portal.

For a business account, enter your name and email address, create a secure password and select Register. We’ll then ask for a few details about your company, including its name, website, industry, size and your role.

During the early-adopter beta, new business accounts may first reach a waitlist page. If you would like early access, you can contact us. Otherwise, we’ll let you know when your account is ready.

Log in and verify your email

Once you have access, return to the login page and select Sign in.

The first time you log in, you’ll be asked to verify your email address. Open the verification message from Azi and select Verify email address. A new window will confirm that the verification was successful. Select Let’s go to enter your business workspace.

Explore the homepage

The business homepage is the starting point for your work in Azi. In the centre, you’ll find your folders and tests. You can also see which workspace you’re using and access your media library, profile, support options and logout controls.

The Media Library is where you can upload images to reuse across different tests. These could include your logo, interface designs or other supporting visuals. You can preview or remove images when you no longer need them. Video support will be added in future.

View and edit your profile

In your profile, you can edit your personal and company details, manage account settings and add workspace editors if your subscription supports them.

This is also where you can manage Azi Crew credits. Credits are used to run tests with participants from the Azi research panel. During the early-adopter phase, you may need to contact us to purchase credits, but this process will become automated.

Create a test

You can create a test directly from the homepage or organise your work using folders and subfolders. Open the relevant folder, select Create test, give the test a name and open it to enter the test builder.

The builder supports multiple versions of a test. This is useful for A/B testing, trying a different question order or making changes while keeping an earlier setup available. If a version has already gone live and you need to correct something, you can duplicate it and work from the copy.

On the left of the builder, you’ll see the structure of your test. A test is made up of elements, such as context screens, questions and prototype tasks. You can also use sections to organise longer tests or group related tasks.

Every test begins with a Context element. Use this to explain the study, introduce a task or give participants information they need before continuing. Add a heading, description and an optional supporting image.

Images must be smaller than 2 MB. This helps keep tests accessible for participants who may be using mobile data or a lower-spec device. Once uploaded, an image is added to your media library so that you can reuse it. The preview on the right gives you an approximate view of what participants will see.

Add a multiple-choice question

Most question elements use a consistent setup. You can rename, duplicate or delete an element, move it into a section and change its question type. You can also decide whether participants must answer the question before continuing.

For a multiple-choice question, add a heading and description, followed by an optional supporting image. This format can be used for a simple question, a preference test, demographic information or feedback about a design the participant has just viewed.

Add as many answer options as you need. You can allow one answer or multiple selections, and include an Other option that asks participants to type their own response.

You can also use the answer options to create a simple rating scale—for example, from 1, “Not great”, to 5, “Excellent”.

Add an open-text question

Select Open text when you want participants to type their own response. Add the question and any supporting description or image, then choose the answer format:

Long text: 10–2,000 characters

Short text: 1–200 characters

Number: numerical responses only

The minimum length for a long response helps encourage more meaningful feedback. If a short answer such as “yes” or “no” is sufficient, use the short-text option instead.

Add a Figma prototype task

Add a Figma element when you want participants to interact with a prototype. You can place the task in its own section to keep the test organised, particularly when testing more than one flow.

Add a task heading, instructions and an optional supporting image. Figma tasks can always be skipped because a prototype may occasionally fail to load on a participant’s device. You can ask participants to provide a reason when they skip. This helps you distinguish a technical problem from difficulty completing the task.

For the best experience, keep the Figma file as small as possible. Ideally, the page should contain only the prototype being tested. Compress large images and remove unnecessary screens or flows, especially when testing with participants who may use mobile data or lower-spec phones.

In Figma, open the prototype view and select Share. Set access to Anyone with the link, make sure that no password is required and copy the prototype link. Return to Azi, paste the link and select Sync prototype. Large files may take longer to sync or may fail, so it is worth checking the file size if you experience problems.

Next, choose whether the prototype is designed for mobile or desktop. Participants will need to use the relevant type of device to complete the test. You can select a device size or use custom dimensions taken from the prototype.

Choose the starting frame for the task. Clear Figma frame names make this much easier. You can then define how Azi should measure success:

Specific path: The participant must follow the sequence of screens you define.

End destination: The participant can take any route, as long as they reach the correct final screen.

This setup affects the analytics, not the participant’s ability to explore the prototype. Participants can still interact freely with any active areas in the Figma file.

Click through the prototype to record the correct path, or choose one or more valid end screens. You can create multiple successful flows when a task has more than one acceptable route. The builder will show the flows and screens you have configured, along with a participant preview.

Preview and manage your test

When the test is ready, open Preview and choose the appropriate device type. You can move through the questions and tasks as a participant would. Preview responses are not saved.

Return to the builder when you are finished. You can reorder elements, create a new version or duplicate an existing version to test a variation.

Send the test live

Select Send live when you are ready to launch the test. Azi will guide you through the setup.

First, give the test group a label. This is for your own records and helps you distinguish different audiences, demographic groups or A/B test variations.

Next, choose whether you want to recruit from Azi Crew, our participant pool, or use your own participants. Add a short description of the study and estimate how long it will take. The test length affects the number of credits required and the amount participants are paid, so try to make the estimate as accurate as possible.

When using Azi Crew, select the number of participants and any relevant demographic criteria, such as age, gender or income range. You’ll then see a summary of your selections and the total credit cost.

If you use your own participants, choose whether the study will be completed online or in person and set the target number of responses. Azi will create a link that you can share with participants. For an in-person study, the test can also be used as a structured note-taking tool so that all the results remain in one place.

Review the summary carefully before selecting Send live. A live version can no longer be edited, although you can duplicate it to create an updated version. You can also add more test groups later.

View the results

After launching the test, open the results screen to see each test group and monitor the number of responses. You can cancel a group if you made a mistake, add another group or copy the participation link to share it again.

The results overview shows progress towards your participant target, the percentage completed and the average time taken.

Open the detailed results to review each element in the test. For context screens, you can see how long participants spent reading the information. Multiple-choice results show the combined answers, response times and whether questions were skipped.

Figma results include combined click tracking and individual user flows. Combined click tracking shows where participants clicked on each screen. Individual flows show the route taken by each participant, their total time on task and the screens they visited. You can open each step to inspect the journey in more detail.

This gives you one place to monitor participation and understand how people responded to your questions and moved through your prototype.

That’s an overview of the Azi business workspace. If you have any questions or feedback, please get in touch with the Azi team.
